Sorry I haven't written in a while. Internet access has been hard to come by the last few weeks.

God has been so good the past three weeks. We had our fundraising week recently where we needed to raise R22,222.22. We were able to raise over R28,000! God really showed us just how good He is during that week.

Since then we have started touring again. Last week we were in East London... This week we are in George... And next week we will be in Senekal. Please continue to pray for us as a lot of our team members are getting ill and have injuries.

Hello Everyone! Sorry its taken me a while to post up an update.

The last few weeks have been great! Last week we had our Gala Shows. This year we performed in the State Theatre... it was awesome. Even though the week was very busy, it was still a lot of fun!

This week we have what we call "Team Week". This is where both teams, Red and Blue, come back to campus for a week. We have teachings, team activities, sometimes we have outreaches, and so on. It has been great reuniting with the other team and catching up with friends.

Next week we have our annual "Fundraising Week". During this week, we split up into our ministry teams and we go for a week to raise money. Our goal for this week is to raise R22,222.22. So far, we have about R4,000 - R5,000, and we have sponsors lined up and plans to raise the rest. Please keep us in your prayers... this is usually a pretty stressful week.

Today is Saturday and its our last day in Danielskuil, and the end of this tour cycle. The last month has been incredible! We've seen God's hand move in ways we could not have imagined. While this first cycle was filled with late nights, [very] early mornings, and the usual frustrations tour can bring, we have really been blessed, as a team as well as individuals, in so many ways.

I would just like to say thank you so much for all the love and support you've given me this year. I would not have been able to do it without you.

Tour has started! We are currently in our third week of tour... and so far it has been amazing. We've toured Danville, Randburg, and we are now in Ellisras. Because of the structure changes we've made in the last year, the layout of the week is always subject to change. So the week can be very hectic. With days starting at 4:00am and ending at 11:00pm, you tend to get pretty tired pretty fast. Thankfully, not every day starts at 4:00am. I will try to update you more as the weeks go on. Thanks again for your support.

We are busy packing our trucks, washing our quantums, and getting every last minute detail ready for tour... which starts tomorrow! We have been training for four months, and we have finally made it to tour. Our first week is in Wespoort, which is in the Pretoria area. I'm not sure if I will have internet access in every town, but if I can, I will try to give an update at the end of each week. Thank you again for your continued prayers and support.

So we have two weeks left before we begin touring! The next two weeks are known to us as "Skyn Week". "Skyn" is an afrikaans word that means "shine". We use this word to refer to our big dress rehearsals with full sound, full lights, all props, etc. It usually takes a whole day (anywhere from twelve to twenty hours) to "skyn" one of our shows. This week is when we do our final skyn for each show to make sure that we are ready for tour!

In this post, I just want to give a brief summary of each of our shows. We perform four main shows: Reflection, Wiggs, Trésor de cœur, and Ghost.

“Reflection” is about stories. Our lives are like books. We each have a story that is unfolding in front of our eyes. Some chapters are happy, while others are filled with pain and suffering. In this show we take a look at two characters, Frieda and Harry, and how their stories have played out thus far. At the end of this show, we set up stations for the audience to visit. We use these stations as a way for them to take a look at their own stories. The message of this show is that we each have a story, and even though we may be in a chapter of heartache, we can put our trust in God and he will be everything we need.

“Wiggs” is a show about cancer. In this show we follow the story of a girl named Kristen—a sixteen year old girl who has cancer and only a few months left to live. Even though she knows that she is dying, she chooses to really live and ends up bringing brightness and joy to everyone she meets. The metaphor of the wig is that we use it to conceal or cover up something. We all have that “cancer” or that secret that we want to hide. We fear being exposed because of shame, guilt, regret, etc. Kristen was completely exposed, and because of that, she was able to embrace life to the fullest.

One of our new shows is “Trésor de cœur”, which is French for “Treasures of the Heart”. Mickey, daughter of internationally acclaimed author Josh Pierce, is a teenage girl who is searching for a treasure that her recently missing father left behind. She believes that in her father’s most recent book, “Trésor de cœur”, are clues to the location of this treasure. At the end of the show, she finds the treasure as well as her father. Her father explains to her that the real treasure was never something out there… but that her treasure is embedded inside of her... The treasure is her heart. We all have a treasure. At some point, we need to stop wandering aimlessly in search of something out there and we need to dig deep within ourselves to find the treasure that God has placed in all of us.

"Ghost" is the newest of our main shows. Oscar is a rising star in the world of soccer. After getting involved in drug dealing, he ends up getting acid in his eyes and goes blind. His soccer career was over, or so he thought. With the help of his friend, he becomes a brilliant soccer coach, even with his blindness. The moral of the story is that no matter where you’ve been and no matter what your current circumstances are, you can over come anything and still chase your dreams.
I would like to start by apologizing for not writing for so long. The internet here on our campus is very dodgy and is constantly out of service. Thank you for bearing with me.

Its been quite a while since I've written. We've finished with Trésor de cœur and we have begun our newest show Ghost. We are also only a month away from beginning our tour... and the schedule is packed. Every minute of every day is completely packed. We are working very late hours and we are even working on weekends. So prayer for energy and strength for the coming weeks is greatly needed.

Hello Everyone

I just want to apologize for not posting anything new in a while. Our internet on campus is very dodgy... and doesn't always work. So for the last two weeks it has been down.

But anyways, we've had some pretty hectic weeks lately. We started on the new show, we started with school shows, we've had events like parent day and day of service. It's been very busy, but it has been good... very good!

I am doing very well. Thank you for all of your prayers. I'm a bit behind with my finances and I will be spending the next week trying to raise money. So keep that in prayer.

The last two weeks have been crazy :P

We have been very busy finishing up our second show, Wiggs, starting with our school productions, and having our dress rehersal for Wiggs! This week we are beginning with a brand new show, Trésor de cœur (French for Treasures of the Heart).

With the coming weeks, I ask for your continued prayer. I've been going through a tough time lately, and the next few weeks are going to be very busy.

Thank you:)

So I've been here for a little more than a week. It has been wonderful.

I am getting to know my team and learning a lot of new names. I have a great team. This weeked I am staying on our campus helping our Music Producers write the music for our new shows. We've written five songs over the past few days, and we have a couple more to go. Then we just need to go back and clean up and polish our recordings. Its a lot of work, but its fun :)

Finally... I'm in South Africa!

I arrived here on Wednesday at around 4:00pm local time after a 20 hour flight. After arriving on our campsite, I jumped right in. I am still playing bass for the band. On Friday, we had a dress rehersal with all our lights, sound, and props for our first show, Reflection. It went extremely well. And we've been rehersing and learning the new music, dances, and script for our next show Wiggs. I'll explain the premise of each show in a later blog.

Thanks again for making it possible for me to be here once again. You all mean the world to me.

Hello everyone!

So, I'm still in the United States... but I will be leaving for South Africa on the 20th of January. I'm still busy raising money. I'm a little over half way with the money I need for my membership payments. I would just like to say a BIG Thank You to everyone who is supporting me. Whether financially or through your continued prayers. May God bless you all.

Thank You :)
